These terms cover your use of Chisholm Trail Local (the "Site"), an initiative of 5 Stone ("we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What the Site is

Chisholm Trail Local is a free directory of home-service businesses in Greater Fort Worth. Homeowners find a pro and contact them directly. We aren't a party to any job, quote, payment or agreement between you and a business.

2. We don't guarantee the work

We list businesses and check that Featured Pros have a Google rating of 4.0 or higher when they upgrade. We don't check licenses, insurance, background or workmanship. Hire carefully, ask questions and get it in writing. Any dispute about a job is between you and the business.

3. Business listings and claims

Businesses can add or claim a listing for free. Our team reviews every claim and approves it within 1 business day. We may ask for proof that you own or manage the business. You're responsible for keeping your listing accurate. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion.

4. Accounts

Business owners can create an account to manage their listing. Keep your login private. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

5. Featured Pro plan

• Price: $99 for the first year for the first 25 businesses, then $250 per year.
• Requirement: a Google rating of 4.0 or higher at upgrade.
• Renewal: the plan renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: cancel any time before renewal. Your plan stays active through the paid year, then the Featured Pro seal and top placement come off.
• Refunds: all payments are final. We don't offer refunds or partial refunds.
• Delivery: your featured spot and seal go live within 2 business days. The rest of the plan's deliverables are completed within 2 weeks.
• We may remove a Featured Pro, without refund, for false information, conduct that harms homeowners, or breaking these terms.

6. Reviews

Featured Pro listings show reviews pulled from Google. We don't host, edit or remove reviews. To report or respond to a review, use Google.

7. Content you give us

When you submit listing details, photos or logos, you confirm you have the right to share them and allow us to display them on the Site and in our marketing for Chisholm Trail Local.

8. Acceptable use

Don't post false information, impersonate a business, scrape the Site, send spam, or try to break or misuse the Site.

9. The Trail Letter

If you sign up, we'll email you our monthly newsletter. You can unsubscribe any time with the link in any email.

10. No warranty

The Site is provided as is. We don't promise it will be error-free or always available, or that listing information is complete or current.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, 5 Stone isn't liable for any damages from your use of the Site or from any business you find through it. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above. Using the Site after that means you accept the update.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Johnson County, Texas.
